About

Soo I’m 22 and currently living in London. I have a degree in Economics from Cambridge and have just started my MSc in Gender, Development & Globalisation at the London School of Economics. I loveee vegan food, photography, music and travelling.

I started this blog to share my love both for reading and for new information which challenges pre-existing beliefs and assumptions.

‘Impossible things before breakfast’ refers to the Alice in Wonderland quote:

“There’s no use trying,” Alice said: “one can’t believe impossible things.” “I daresay you haven’t had much practice,” said the Queen. “When I was your age, I always did it for half-an-hour a day. Why, sometimes I’ve believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast.”

Through the Looking Glass by Lewis Carroll

The idea being that this is a space where I question ideas and beliefs we’ve internalised before we’ve even started the day, be it social structures we partake in as a default or habits we’ve picked up without really knowing why.

Hope you enjoy! Love, Emma x
